Balloon and Bubbles - Discovery Time with the Outrageous Orangutans!

We have Discovery Time every Friday. 
It is always lots of fun! 
This week we spent Discovery Time with Miss Robertson and the Outrageous Orangutans.
We used lots of HOM's - Working Together, New Ideas, Persistence, Listening, and Finding Humour!

Yesterday we went to check on the garden. A few months ago we planted lots of seedlings.
Look how they have grown!
We wrote down what we could see and then we went back to class to write about it!

At the end of Term 2 we went to Auckland Zoo!

We saw some amazing animals and had an awesome time!

Drumming Workshop

Last week 'Rythm Interactive' came to Rowandale. The whole school got to do a drumming workshop! It was very cool. We had to look and listen and follow the pattern on our drum. It was very noisy!

'Creating and Innovating' Discovery Time

We had to make our tower strong so it could stand up by itself.
We worked together and tried new ideas!
